What to look for.
These are the same three things worth checking in any company's install photos — ours included.
Is the bypass valve reachable?
You shouldn't have to drain the whole system just to service it.
Are the lines actually supported?
Pipe left to hang puts all the stress on whatever fitting it's hanging from — that's where leaks start.
Is there an air gap on the drain line?
Skip it and there's nothing stopping backflow between the drain and your water supply.
